All schools in Pennsylvania are required by law to administer a PSSA in reading and a mathematics assessment in grades 6 through 8 and a science assessment in grade 8. Students are also required to take a Keystone exam after they have completed Algebra I at the middle school level. This includes all students enrolled in the virtual academy.
